The pretending mankind

Today, I just feel like sharing my view on several different issues if you feel like sharing your view as well feel free to drop a comment. Am I the only one who notices just how selfish mankind has become? Today, I started to think about how obsessed people have become with material things so much so that they will kill and destroy anyone or anything that stands in their way. I was watching a documentary this morning on how people in Africa are suffering and how thankful they are for some of the simpliest of things. How many times do you complain about not having the simpliest of things? We have come to be a very selfish and ungrateful set of people. When a woman can pretend to love a man just to get tho his pocket shows the lack of respect and she had for herself and the lack of care she has for another soul. When a man can pretend to love a woman just so that he can get to the cookie jar shows the lack of respect and value that he places on women and himself.

Let me tell your the truth, sometimes I just feel like going in a box and staying in there. At times I am afraid of what mankind will do next. Walking on the street I wonder when will somebody snap and I will be the next victim. When will somebody feel offended by something I have said or none and decided that they have enough of me. The word love is thrown around so much and has become so intertwined with the word hate. It is good to forgive people but we have to think of our safety these days as murder suicides continue to increase around us I wonder at times what could possibly happen in a relationship for a person to kill their lover and themself. What I believe is that some evil force is out there that is taking over the mind of some of the people on our society. People do not respect themselves and when they are confronted will attack you in defense of their carefree attitude and lifestyle.

The future of our world will be filled with bitter and exploited people. People are so angry these days yet they claim to not be concerned about their haters or aren't affected by friendships going sour or fake people. What then is making everybody so angry? Mankind has become so comfortable with pretending. People pretend to love you to get what they want and people pretend to what the best for you Iifr but hate you when you get it. Pretending has sadly become a universal theme. We pretend to love our jobs, we pretend to be enjoying our lives, we pretend that we aren't affected by betrayal, we pretend to have everything in life figured out. We need to stop pretending and make changes to actually start living the life that we pretend to live.
