A world where people don't love you if you can't supply them with all the material things they need. A world where people marry just to get citizenship in a country. A world where the most educated aren't the ones given the best of jobs. A world where the television and internet are left to teach our children values. A world where the leaders of the church spend more money on church buildings than feeding the poor. A world where children receive guns before they receive a book to read. A world where in one half of the world people fight for an apple to eat while in the other we pick,choose and refuse what to eat. A world where we cry when we have no new clothes or shoes but some have never felt the warmth of a shirt and pants on their cold flesh. A world where politicians get increases in pay while the citizens are placed on wage freeze for years. A world where everybody proclaims they can't trust anybody. A world where girls value are always occupied with their looks and men flash money and drive fast cars and they feel the world belongs to them. A world where everybody complains but nobody tries to make actual changes. A world where you spend years studying and get turned for a job because of your skin tone. A world where people would rather read hours of gossip about celebrities rather than flip the pages of an inspirational magazine. A world where to speak up against wrong you are called a lunatic. A world where we will continue to fight each and everyday to make a better day.
As a Digital Marketer in Jamaica, how would I revamp Palace Amusement? Here are some of my ideas: 1. The History of Palace Amusement - Create a campaign highlighting where the company is coming from, where it is now, and where it will be. Speak to grandparents who visited at the start, and have each group share their experience. Tie these experiences in with a film of the time. 2. The Love of Palace – Many couples have had their first dates at the movies, sparking relationships that blossomed into marriages and lifelong love stories. This campaign will highlight some of these real-life romances using a black-and-white aesthetic to evoke nostalgia and emotional connection in a visually captivating TV commercial, which will also be promoted across digital platforms. The campaign will culminate in an in-person event where couples with similar love stories will be invited to a special screening of the romance movie currently showing. That is very true but we should stil try to improve the conditions in which we live in we shouldn't just leave it as is because we know we won't be here forever.
